Each nativity figure of Angela Tripi's nativity scene is characterized by an extraordinary wealth of details, charisma and expressive strength. While normally the terracotta statues of the traditional nativity scene are built starting from a skeleton covered with clothes to which the extremities of the limbs (hands, feet and head) are applied, the statues of Angela Tripi have fully formed bodies, that are modeled naked and then dressed.The artist therefore "dresses" the body, giving the statue an amazing realism, and, while a traditional statue, through the stillness of a gesture, recalls a profession or a character, admiring these works you realize that there is always a before and a later moment in the characters life.
