This beautiful terracotta nativity set is made of terracotta and straw. It is adapted for an 8 cm nativity set, real height 7.5 cm.
It represents a farmer at work, busy lifting hay with a pitchfork and with a basket at his feet. The farmer statue is first modeled out of terracotta, then hand-painted and covered in fabric by Neapolitan nativity craftsmen. Given the high level of craftsmanship of this item and the limited availability of fabrics and colors, each statue is unique and may have slight differences compared to the picture shown.
