The technique used to make this plaque is called sand casting and is one of the most renowned procedures in the field of metal working. First, a cast is made using a special kind of sand, called foundry sand, based on a wooden or resin model of the statue. Then, molten bronze is poured into the cast, which will be shattered at the end of the process so as to extract the piece. Once the bronze model is obtained, it is worked, finished, polished and smoothened.
Since bronze is a live material, it tends to darken over the years (if exposed outdoors): this is a peculiar feature of bronze, which will make this product beautiful and unique as times goes by.

Marco 12/27/2021L'articolo è arrivato nei tempi previsti, l'imballaggio era integro. L'articolo si presenta in buone condizioni senza nessuna ammaccatura. Il punto dolente è stato la posizione della pompa (posta sul lato della vaschetta) che provocava delle vibrazioni piuttosto rumorose, infatti è stata rimossa e incollata sul fondo della vaschetta per far cessare le vibrazioni e rumori. Altre piccole imperfezioni di colatura colla sono di poco conto e facilmente mascherabili. Tutto sommato un buon prodotto!

Inicialmente, quando recebi a cascata, pensei que faltava a bacia para colocar a água; depois é que me apercebi que a água era colocada no interior da própria cascata; não precisa de bacia! Muito bonita. Aconselho.
