The statues are placed on a base with four supports measuring 26x16 cm. In this precious creation, Joseph is leading the group holding the donkey tight by the rope of the halter, his gaze forward and the cane in his hand. The donkey, made even more alive by the gleaming glass eyes, has the Madonna on her back, holding the Child in her arms. Each piece of this scene is handcrafted and scrupulously finished, the result of a long process that includes the realization in terracotta, painting and dressing in starched fabrics. Each piece is unique, thanks to the 100% handmade workmanship and the limited availability of colours and fabrics.
