These icons called 'menologion' (yearly), are tables whose compositional graphic style derives from miniatures first collections portraying the life of saints.
The icon is divided in four registers, each of whom portraying different scenes from liturgical life.

in the third the miraculous liberation of Saint Peter from Jail by the angel
