The base is decorated with the inscription "Hoc est enim corpus meum", referring to the body of Christ shared by the devotees during the celebration of the Holy Mass.
The stem is hammered, as the sub-cup, also decorated with an engraved column pattern. The node is decorated by a arc pattern.
The lid of the ciborium is smooth and topped by a budded cross.
