Extra pure saffron- Monastery of Siloe
Extra pure saffron coming in dark purple stigma that turn into the typical saffron yellow colour when immersed in water. The cultivation of saffron in Maremma dates back tot he Middle age when saffron was used to dye fabrics. Each single saffron flower is grown and patiently collected by the monks of the Monastery of Siloe.
