The technique
The Linea Aurea collection by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high quality artistic works created through the patented pictography technique, created by the master Stefano Lazzari. This method allows you to create reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is ''a fresco'' with gold leaf retouch, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which guarantees that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The painting
The fresco portrays the Virgin Mary in the foreground while she tenderly holds the newborn Jesus in her arms. Around them, five angels contemplate the child with devotion. The dark background accentuates the predominant colours used for the figure of the Virgin, while the illuminated faces of the angels reflect the light emanating from the Child. Each item comes with a certificate of provenance inside the packaging, adding value to your purchase. A hook on the back makes the painting suitable as a decorative wall element.
