This Holy Family statue comes from Val Gardena, in Italy, where artworks are carved by skilled artisans; in fact since 1892 Val Gardena is the perfect place to admire these masterpieces. The ability and competence in wood carving is transmitted from father to son, to avoid loosing this tradition. The statues up to 24 cm of height are made of maple wood while the statues from 36 cm of height are made of lime wood.
