Absolutely beautiful. I only knew this painting from the prayer cards of it - but this is far better. Just lovely. The play of light on the gold background adds even more to it. I also bought St Rita, also against a gold background; and the Isenheim altarpiece. I only wish Holyart did more of these sorts of pictures!
