Acquistata in copia con il Cristo di Chambers è davvero bella anche questa tavola lignea di Maria. Sono molto soddisfatto! Emana la umile ma forte presenza della Giovane Donna scelta per divenire la Madre di Dio. In modo diverso, avvicina in spiritualità e devozione, alle icone. Curata in tutti i particolari, con un gioco di luce dorata nello sfondo e nei tratti rimarcati d'oro, esalta le stesse venature del legno conferendo importanza, bellezza e soprattutto presenza spirituale. Davvero molto soddisfatto.
