Ghirelli rosary of the Nativity, Bohemian glass of 8 mm. Rosary made of pearly white glass beads of 8 mm with a gold and red cross and centrepiece.
The centrepiece represents the Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus and is decorated by a ribbon and some stars, with the comet above it.
The elaborate cross with red enamelled details measures 5x3 cm.
Rosary necklace of 80 cm of circumference made and enamelled by hand in Italy by Ghirelli.

This set of Christmas Rosary exceeded all of my expectations. The off-white, soft tone, colour of the beads, which I particularly like, is interspersed with gold metal wiring, making for a very striking set of beads. This, combined with the delicate pinks and reds and gold finishing used throughout the rosary in a very tasteful and respectful manner, make it a truly magnificent piece for any occasion. There is also a beautifully designed junction medal depicting the "Virgin & Child" image. And last, but not least, the ornate gold and red stone cross is particularly striking. I bought two sets, and will definitely be ordering some more as gifts for that "special occasion". A rosary definitely not to be missed - and not just for Christmas!
