Scene showing a family and their donkey along the road to reach the stable where the son of God was born. The smiling woman holds her child in a warm embrace, who looks at her with eyes full of love, while her husband with a tired face and his cane acts as a guide to his beloved family, pulling the donkey with him. Their donkey with its eyes turned to the ground from fatigue carries on their backs the little wood that could be useful to the Holy Family. All the statues are handcrafted, in terracotta and fabric, then meticulously painted by hand. These are real works of art made with skill and attention at Angela Tripi's artistic workshop. Normally the statues of the traditional nativity scene, for example the Neapolitan one, are made with a skeleton frame made of fabrics and with terracotta ends (the head, hands and feet). The statues of the artist Angela Tripi have a completely formed body: they are modeled naked and subsequently dressed with fabrics and small jewels. In her works the artist tells a story: each statue is depicted in a moment of their life, thus managing to make us understand the existence of a before and after moment. Angela Tripi manages to give each nativity figure an amazing realism, never seen before and unrepeatable: her works will never be the same, because each is unique. THE CHARACTERS COULD DIFFER FROM THE PHOTO AS EVERY SCULPTURE IS A UNIQUE PIECE, BY CHOICE FROM THE ARTIST.
