Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker or Nicholas of Myre was an early Christian bishop of Greek descent and one of the most venerated saints.
The Joy of All Who Sorrow is an icon of the Theotokos, depicted in a benevolant attitude, Joy of all afflicted as she intecedes for them with God, placed above. The afflicted are represented praying all around Her.
The Decollation of Saint John the Baptist is an episod of the Gospels representing the Saint's death, asked by Salome to Herod Antipas, her step-father.
