Ancient icon from Moscow, painted in the beginning of the 1800s, representing the Mother of God of Smolensk, belonging to the Hodegetria iconographic type. The Theotokos is depicted frontally with the head slightly bowed towards the Infant Jesus, sitting on his Mother left hand, while pointing at him with her right hand.
