The Good Shepherd, antique Russian icon, restored in the 21st century, 12.2x10.2 inches. Antique Russian icon from the 19th century, restored in the 21st century respecting the iconographic rules of the old school of Central Russia.
This icon, painted by hand with egg tempera on wood with levkas, represents Jesus Christ as the Good Shepherd with a sheep on his shoulders. The ICXC inscription is the monogram of Christ (The One Who is).
