The portrait of Saint Michael the Archangel fill all the space, depicted with his head bowed, symbolising the veneration towards the Christ Pantocrator, and his face expression proving the great meaning of the prayer adressed to the Son of God.
This icon was painted by hand according to Byzantine-Greek school rules on lime hardwood and covered with gold leaf.
