In the centre of the icon we find the Almighty Lord, Zevaot, with the Holy Spirit (dove) in his chest. Only-Begotten son Icon, hand painted in Russia, 20th century 32x27 cm. Icon of the XX century, hand painted in Russia following the traditional Eastern iconographic rules.
In the centre of the icon we find the Almighty Lord, Zevaot, with the Holy Spirit (dove) in his chest. Beneath Him, the Saviour, carried by two angels, with the Tetramorph (symbol of the Evangelists) in his right hand and a scroll in the left one. On the side, two Angels carry the sun and the moon. Two other angels are painted on the background.
Bottom left, an Angel beats Satan, pierced by a cross.
Jesus Christ sits on the cross, represented as a warrior in full armour, making unclean persons escape and hide in a cave.
Bottom right, some beasts devour sinners and Death with the scythe rides an apocalyptic beast.
Icon made of wood and levkas and painted by hand on gold leaf with egg tempera by masters of the Golden Ring of Russia.
