In this painting, Mary is portraited half-length with the Infant Jesus on her left arm, giving him her right hand. On both sides of the Virgin stands an angel. The Infant Jésus is represented looking at the cross in the angel's hands and holding his Mother hands, a sandal slipping off his foot.
