Russian icon of the Dormition, painted in the 20th century 31x26 cm. Russian icon painted by hand on wood levkas and gold leaf, representing the Domition of Holy Mary.
The icon is dominated by Christ' image, surrounded by the light of Resurrection, holding his Mother soul, a little girl, daughter of her Son, in his hands. Around Mary's body, we find the Apostles and the Holy women.
