Our Lady of Tychvin icon, painted and gilded 31x26.5 cm Poland. Icon in Russian style hand painted with tempera on wood in Poland and covered by a riza of silver and copper alloy, beaten by hand, preventing the item to blacken.
According to the legend, the icon rose from the Tychvinka river in 1383, where the sanctuary and the monastery were then built.
Delivered with guarantee certificate and history of the icon.
Due to its artisanal manufacture, each piece is different and unique.
