Virgin of Vladimir, enamelled and hand painted icon 22x19 cm Poland. Icon of Our Lady of Vladimir, produced in Poland and hand painted with tempera on wood, covered by a silver and copper alloy, called riza, beaten by hand, to applied to prevent the painting to blacken.
Delivered with guarantee certificate and history of the icon.

Vergine della tenerezza di Vladimir: il bambino, portatore di gioia per la madre, è affettuosamente stretto a lei. Lo sguardo della madre è tenero, ma triste, forse in previsione del tragico destino del figlio. Icona con una grande tradizione ed un importante significato storico, bellissima per l'esecuzione pregiata e perfetta degli artigiani polacchi.
