Statue of Our Lady of the Heart made of fibreglass and painted by hand in tempera by Italian craftsmen, representing the Virgin with Child in a gesture of deep tenderness. The Child has an arm around his mother's neck, while his left hand in on her chest, showing his double nature with one aspect associated with the divine and the other to his human nature of a vulnerable child.
The statue stands on an octogonal base of 1x7.5x6.9 inches.
