Virgin Mary statue with baby and sceptre in Valgardena wood 25cm, gothic style, antique gold finish.
The original of this statue is kept in the Cologne Cathedral (Rhineland) and it dates back to 1310, sculpted by an anonymous artist.
Antique gold finish: the painted statue is coated with gold leaf.
This statue in maple wood is hand made by the Valgardena artisans, following the local artistic tradition.
