Our Lady of Victory is a Marian figure associated with the protection of the Church in difficult times, particularly linked to the victory of the Battle of Lepanto attributed to the intercession of the Virgin.
The portrayal depicts the Madonna adorned in sumptuous garments, wearing a golden crown that enhances her majesty. Beside her, the Baby Jesus stands to her right and, supported by His Mother, stands on a sphere symbolising divine dominion over the world, held by a cloud. The shiny gold finish of Baby Jesus' crown also adds brightness to the statue.
