Neapolitan Easter Creche with 13 cm characters, 110x55 cm. Round setting representing a whole Easter Creche in a rocky landscape, enriched by painted terracotta figurines, dressed by hand with real fabric in the traditional Neapolitan style in Italy.
The Creche is developed on three levels, reproducing Jesus Christ's Passion. On ground level, we will find Jesus' baptism with John the Baptist, the washing of the feet with Jesus on his knees by one of his apostles and the Last Supper, setted in a room full of miniature details. On the central part of the setting, a staircase hosts the entry into Jerusalem with Jesus on his donkey and then the ascent to Mount Calvary with Jesus carrying the cross, helped by Simone of Cyrene.
On the upper level, we find the crucifixion of Jesus and the two robbers, the Pietà with the dead body of the Christ in his mother's lap and, finally, the Resurrection with the three Marys adoring Jesus Christ.
The whole setting measures 110x55 cm and is illuminated by lights powered by a 220V European plug.
Each Creche is handcrafted and unique.
