On the octagonal base three inscription in Bosnian indicate the other name of Our Lady of Medjugorje, "Queen of Peace", the name of the city and the date of her first apparition (June 24th, 1981).
Made in Medjugorje of local marble dust and painted for exteriors by a Bosnian company.
