Russian icon representing the episode of the apparition of three mysterious pilgrims at Abraham's, mentioned in the 18th chapter of the Genesis. At the beginning of the 15th century, in Russia, Andrej Rublev revolutionised this iconography by eliminating the earthly characters and by transforming the scene in a sort of composition, a colloquy between thee trinitary Figures with its apex in the Eucharistic chalice and so in Man's Salvation.
Painted by hand in Moscow in the 19th century, this icon is delivered in a blue velvet box with the evaluation of an expert.
